CZU Fire Relief Fund for Dani & Matt

On Saturday Aug. 22, Dani and Matt lost their home and almost everything they own in the CZU Fire Complex fires in the Santa Cruz mountains. Dani had just moved in with Matt six months prior, and they spent so much time together fixing it up to be the beautiful little mountain home it was.
Since then, they have received nothing but an outpouring of love and a desire to support them in any way possible from their friends and family. While it’s hard to know exactly what they need at this time, they do know they will need to begin to replace the everyday things they need to live happily and comfortably. I started this fundraiser to help them feel supported and comfortable as they navigate this new path and slowly begin again.
Dani and Matt will be donating 10% to Cal Fire to support the many firefighters who have saved so much of Matt’s hometown and so many homes, as well as to the efforts currently in place for Santa Cruz evacuees.
