Help my family to regain the ability to live

Hello everyone,
For two long years, the people of Gaza, and my family among them, have lived through constant fear, loss, and displacement. Even if the war ended today, my family’s suffering would not stop. Winter has turned their lives into another battle for survival.
My family is living through a brutal winter with no real shelter. Their tents are weak, damaged, and no longer safe. When it rains, the ground turns to mud and water floods inside. The tents sink and sometimes feel like they are drowning. Blankets, clothes, and everything they own become soaked. My siblings wake up cold, shaking, and terrified, with nowhere warm to go.
Displacement has destroyed every sense of home and safety. My family no longer has a home at all only fragile tents. My family has been forced to flee again and again, carrying only what they could hold. Their home has been destroyed and no longer exists. Now they live only in unstable tents, exposed to freezing nights, strong winds, and endless rain. For two years, they have had no safe place to return to.
The cold has made daily life unbearable. My siblings and their kids always get sick with the flu, coughing through the night without proper medicine or care. Their bodies are weak from exhaustion and exposure to the cold. There are not enough warm clothes, no heaters, and no way to protect them from the harsh winter weather.
My family is not just displaced they are cold, sick, and constantly at risk. They move not toward comfort or safety, but simply to survive another night. It breaks my heart knowing they are enduring this while the world moves on. This suffering does not end when bombs stop winter continues to take its toll.
I write this on behalf of my mother, whose pain reflects the pain of every mother in Gaza. She watches my siblings shiver, fall ill, and sleep in wet, freezing tents, unable to protect them. We are reaching out with broken hearts, asking for compassion not only for Gaza, but for my family’s survival.
My family has lost everything. They no longer have a home—only tents that barely protect them from the harsh winter. Like so many others, they are facing the cold without proper shelter, warmth, or medical care. They are not just displaced; they are forgotten.
While the world gathered in warm homes, surrounded by bright lights and Christmas celebrations, families in Gaza faced a very different reality. Instead of blankets and heaters, children shivered through freezing nights in thin clothes beneath torn tents. The cold seeped into their bones as rain soaked the ground below them, and winter storms showed no mercy. While others shared gifts and laughter, these children searched only for warmth, safety, and comfort—things that should never be a luxury.

The humanitarian crisis grows worse with every passing day. Any donation, no matter how small, can help provide winter tents, warm clothing, blankets, and medicine and offer a small sense of safety in these dark times.
If you have already contributed, we are deeply grateful. If you can help again or share this message with others, it would mean more than words can express.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and solidarity.
With gratitude, Layal
