Freddy's Fund

UPDATE: I've included some of the invoices so you can truly appreciate the impact your donation will have. I had a Tort professor that told us if we could have done math we'd have gone to med school. Harsh but true. (Alt humorous line--"It was my understanding that there would be no math." C. Chase. SNL. 1976.) All attempts at humor aside, Jen is looking at over 16K in vet bills.

Our squad is hoping to raise funds to help offset vet bills for Freddy. Freddy's person Jen has been rescuing dogs for ages. She often takes in older pups, many of whom have preexisting medical conditions.

Freddy is a happy friendly puggle who showed no signs of illness...until one day (as it goes, of course). Jen rushed him to the ER where he was diagnosed with liver failure. His condition was critical and Freddy had to remain in the hospital for tests.

As any pet parent can attest, it's heartbreaking to leave your furbaby at the hospital. But needs must and so there he remained. Freddy was thankfully discharged and now, unfortunately, he needs to see an internist for more tests.

Jen adopts dogs that no one else will and gives them all of the love in the world. This is the first time she's hinted at needing financial assistance. any amount you are able to offer to help defray the mounting vet bills would mean the world to Jen and Freddy.
