Many of you know me and have to know how hard it was to actually do this. I’ve been self reliant since I was 16 when I joined the Army. I chose to come back to my roots where I officiated rec softball for 28 years and high school and college baseball, basketball and football. Now I’m fighting. I have been battling cancer for several months and basically I’ve not been given a cure for squamous carcinoma well differentiated lung cancer stage 3. I’ve depleted my savings and three months prior to diagnosis I had purchased a home and the caved in before I had even been diagnosed, and still fighting with insuarance co with that matter. I’m more concerned for her she’s ten years my elder. We found out I had cancer three months after purchasing a home which several things were not disclosed the roof caved in same time as diagnosis and still insuarance will not pay out. Over 125000 in damages and that’s half the cost of the home. I had home inspection and all supposedly was fine but not so. Fridge , microwave , central air, roof and electrical outlets held together with scotch tape. Tomorrow will be here regardless I’m here or not but I’d like to know my family will be ok and be able to afford funeral and sustain a decent life not lavish by no means. Any assistance would be much appreciated. I was working part time and was told by Sanford oncology my job would be safe. Not so. They terminated me last week while at chemo because I was not able to return to full duties. I thank you in advance for any assistance
I’ve worked hard all my life and not wanting to continue would be easy to do but I was told without therapy more then likely then only 6-12 months they figured due to late stage of tumor and location. I want last part of life to be quality not quantity and am hoping to cover funeral expenses and my bills I don’t want to have a mess for family to take care of. Any help’s appreciated. Thank you so much
