Czech Republic Mission Trip

Hello! My name is Charlie, and I am so excited to announce that I will be going to the Czech Republic with my youth group at Jubilee Fellowship Church . Ever since I first found out about it, I’ve had an unrelenting feeling pulling at me to go on this mission trip.
We will be staying with Josiah Venture, a European missions organization. The Czech Republic only recently ended communism in 1989; because of this, it is the most atheistic country in the world (less than 1% are Christian or any denomination). The high school team and our leaders will be spreading the gospel in a unique manner, while making many brand new connections and friends at an English immersion camp for teens. We will eventually live alongside one of the Czech families for an entire weekend, subtly sharing the love of Jesus. Our mission trip will take place this summer, from July 10th to July 25th, 2017.
I'm attending monthly meetings with the team to make sure I am adequately prepared, and that everything is falling into place. At our meetings, there will be “checkpoints” so as to ensure that I don’t fall behind in fundraising. The money raised will pay for everything necessary (food, round-trip airfare, emergency insurance, etc), as well as a donation to Josiah Venture . If I am fortunate enough to raise more than $3000, the excess funds will help another teen from our church to receive a scholarship.
I request prayer and donations – please pray for safety and guidance through this entire process.
Regarding donations, every amount counts. Every dollar donated will go towards reaching people through this trip; none will be laid to waste. Your donations and prayers are a true blessing, and I will use them to carry out blessings on others.
