In Loving Memory of Frank Castro Sr

The Castro family has lost their beloved father in death in December 2021. Frank Castro suffered a stroke in 2007, and after his ongoing struggle with Alzheimer’s and dementia, he fell asleep peacefully in death in the early morning hours of December 18, 2021 with his wife, and family at his bedside. He was a dedicated musician for over 50 years and well known throughout the DFW and California area. He leaves behind his beloved wife and best friend Olivia of 61 years of marriage, along with his 4 children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His biggest love was playing his accordion over the decades with his bands, playing with friends/family as well as teaching his grandson’s his love for music on different instruments. At this time we kindly ask for thoughts and prayers for comfort and if you are able to, any donation is greatly appreciated. La familia Castro perdió a su amado padre en la muerte en diciembre de 2021. Frank Castro sufrió un derrame cerebral en 2007, y después de su continua lucha con el Alzheimer y la demencia, se durmió pacíficamente en la muerte en las primeras horas de la mañana del 18 de diciembre de 2021 con su esposa y familia junto a su cama. Fue un músico dedicado durante más de 50 años y muy conocido en todo el área de DFW y California. Deja atrás a su amada esposa y mejor amiga Olivia de 61 años de matrimonio, junto con sus 4 hijos y muchos nietos y bisnietos. Su mayor amor fue tocar su acordeón durante décadas con sus bandas, tocar con amigos / familiares y enseñarle a su nieto su amor por la música en diferentes instrumentos.
