Union Mission of Roanoke Rapids has been serving the people of the Roanoke Valley in northeastern NC for over 64 years.
We are committed to helping the homeless and the working poor with their needs. Our program includes an intensive homeless recovery program for men and will begin a similar intensive program for women and children in early 2016. Last year Union Mission gave to the public over 9,000 boxes of food in a bi-monthly food cooperative program. We also run a soup kitchen that feeds up to 50 people on any given night 365 days of the year.
We house up to 15 homeless men and will be working with up to 10 women and children early in 2016. These people have no place to turn. We must help each person who comes through our doors to find a solution to their dilemma. We are committed and we need your partnership.
1.90 per person provides food for the hungry who come within our doors for help. Won't you join our team by making a donation?
