Get Bruce home.

Bruce Jackson has been a contractor for the Coast Guard in El Salvador for 18 years. He suffered a stroke and a heart attack on August 29. He underwent a procedure and spent some time in the ICU before waking up again on September 1st. Since then he has slowly regained some ability to talk but he has a long way to go.
In-home medical care was denied by his insurance so he and his family have been paying thousands of dollars out of pocket for nurses. His family has not been able to work because caring for Bruce has been a full-time job. The out-of-pocket medical expenses have been an enormous burden for the family and they do not have much left to spare.
He is now battling with arterial blockages in his leg and infections that will likely lead to amputation of his toe. The hospital in El Salvador can no longer provide the appropriate level of care. The family is now forced to fly Bruce to Miami for advanced medical care, but without family nearby, this will incur even more cost in hotels, transportation, and food.
Bruce has been supporting deployed air crews for the last 18 years and now we have the opportunity to help him.
