Camilla & Steph's Marathon for Lung Cancer Charities
Donation protected
Camilla and Steph are running the Edinburgh Marathon in memory of Camilla's dad Pedro who died in 2019, and Steph's dad Kevin who died this year, both from lung cancer.
Thank you so much in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us and our families. We are raising money for two charities (Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and St. Columba's Hospice Care). Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is the only UK charity wholly dedicated to beating lung cancer, which is the UK's biggest cancer killer. St Columba's Hospice Care provides world-leading hospice care for everyone in Edinburgh and the Lothians, for free.
We are running the Edinburgh Marathon in May 2025 (and also the Lancaster Half Marathon in November): The training is intense (rain, wind, cold)... and we don't even love running haha! But such an important cause and it's a honour to train and run in memory of our dads who were taken far too soon.
We may be seen running around campus in Michaelmas and Lent - please join us if you want to burn off that desk snacking! Misery loves company haha ;)
Thank you so much, Camilla & Steph.
