Yao and Aya Saelee cancer fund

Donation protected
This is my coworker and good friend Yao in the picture. He is engaged to the beautiful woman next to him. Her name is Aya. These are their two kids. Kota and Kamiya. Kota is two and kamiya is 7.

When Aya was pregnant with Kota she went in for her check up and they found out she had cervical cancer. Aya waited to deliver Kota to receive her treatment. As she was advised to. As soon as she was cleared she started her chemo and radiation. After a few months of treatment we thought she was in the clear. Earlier this year her results came back. She now has cancer worse than before. They have been doing treatment for a few months now and it sadens  me to say that Unfortuently there is no cure for her cancer. The doctor has told them at this point all they can do is try to keep it at bay with chemo for the rest of her life.

Let me tell you a little more about Aya. Aya is 29 years old. Engaged to Yao, the love of her life with two loving children. She grew up here in alameda and went to alameda schools. After high school she persued her dream of doing hair. She's worked in Berkeley as a hairstylist for the past years and has loved every moment of it. She hasn't been able to work since she was first diagnosed. Especially now. The chemo she is doing is so aggressive it puts her out for at least a week.
Yao is also a hairstylist here in alameda at Spank salon. He supports the family of four right now. It's very difficult because he also needs to be home when Aya has her chemo. She is unable to take care of the kids because she is in so much pain and out of it. Being a contractor hairstylist like both Aya and Yao, they don't get disability. Any work they miss they don't get paid.

Let's please all help this family out financially. I know if any of us were in their shoes they would go above and beyond for us! Let's help them live life to the fullest when Aya is feeling well. Let's help them have the money to get out and do special trips with their children. As you can only imagine how hard it must be for them to see their mom like this.. We don't know how long she has. Let's give them the best life!
