Sierra's fight

Hi. My name is Sierra Putnam. Throughout my life, I have developed beliefs and values about myself mostly through sports. Some of those beliefs/values are that I am strong. I am brave. I work hard. After a great mountain biking and nordic season, I was ready to jump back on my bike and face even bigger, scarier, harder things than I had the year before. I value doing things that test me, they help me build character and make me a better person. I just didn't know that in one day, a person's fears could change so dramatically. That day for me was the day I was diagnosed with aveolarhabdomyosarcoma cancer. This is a rare cancer often found as tumors on the head and neck of adolescents. This is a new challenge for me, one that will test me more than almost any challenge before, but I am willing to prove that I can work through the hard times, continue to be kind, caring, strong, and brave. But I am going to need your help.
