Amber’s journey

Donation protected
My daughter is 22 years old and has been dealing with medical problems since she was just a baby. Amber has a very unique type of asthma that for whatever reason can’t be controlled. I was diagnosed with placenta abruption at 9.5 weeks of conception, the doctors said I would never carry her out of my first trimester not alone to term. They wanted me to abort the pregnancy due to the health risk to both her and myself. I refused and said if I wasn’t meant to have her God would make that decision not a team of doctors. My entire pregnancy was touch and go. Lots of time in the hospital. I carried her till she was 36 weeks, she was born emergency c-section January of 1997 weighing in at 4lbs 6oz. The first 6 months we had no problems with her and then it began. She had her first “asthma attack” when she was just under a year old and it’s been a nightmare since. She’s been taking breathing treatments along with serveral other medications to prevent the attacks and nothing works, not to mention high does of prednisone daily. She has been intubated more times then I can count. First time at the age of 5 for 10 days and just last year alone 6 times. We have been to several hospitals to see pulmonologist including OSU and The Cleveland Clinic and still no answers. She even has had bronchial thermoplasty done 2 years ago and it did nothing for her. Amber is a wonderful young lady who remains positive through all of this and always has a smile on her face. She has currently put the remainder of her schooling on hold because of being in and out of the hospital but she’s going to be a respiratory therapist. She is employed but due to the medical problems she misses a lot of work. Her insurance only covers so much and her medical bills are out of control, not to mention the cost of her daily medications. She’s currently in the hospital and was just taken off the ventilator earlier today. If any of you could find it within yourselves to help her pay for some of these bills and her daily medications it would mean the world to her/us. She stresses out so bad over all theses bills because of her credit and future. The life flights alone are serveral thousand dollars and she had multiple flights last year. I know times are tough for everyone but if you could help we would be forever greatful. One other thing I’m asking for is prayers for a healing for my daughter. I have faith that God can and will see her through this. ❤️❤️
