Gavin's fight

Gavin Osborne is a loving son, brother and uncle with a laugh as huge as his loving heart. He is quick with a joke, big bear hug or encouraging words when you are having a hard time. Unfortunately, he is facing a very difficult challenge and needs a helping hand from others.

He has been hospitalized for over a month in excruciating pain, waiting for the doctors to find out what is causing it. Unfortunately what he found out is devastating to say the least. He has been diagnosed with very aggressive, Stage 4 liver cancer. It is rapidly spreading and has made its way into his bones. There are masses all throughout his body as well. Pancreas, liver, bile ducts to name a few. We are just finding out this terrible news and are doing what we can to figure out how to help him.

He lost his job a couple of months ago due to being ill. Like most of us, he lives paycheck to paycheck. He has fallen behind on many bills and expenses.

They have started Radiation but due to the amount of pain, are unable to start chemo yet. I was told by his Dr today that we are looking at a grim prognosis...Six months???

We, his family are absolutely shocked and heartbroken and are trying to figure out a way to help get him back home to Tennessee. He has lived in California for many years. We just want him home with us to love and care for him throughout these next few months. As his sister, I want him to be as stress free as possible. I am asking, pleading for your help.
