Melanie’s fight against cancer

Hi, my name is Haydee Guzman and our dear and beautiful friend Mrs Melanie Hudson is unfortunately entering into another fight against cancer. She’s the Math Interventionalist at GHNO. Melanie is well known and loved by all who she has encountered throughout her life. She has given so much of herself as a teacher, mentor and friend to this community. Melanie is the family member or friend that you can always count on, she is the most kind, generous person I know. Melanie is unbelievably strong and I am confident she can fight this cancer as she has before.

Melanie’s was diagnosis on December 5. The brain tumor is inoperable, but the chance of remission is high. She’s currently undergoing specialized treatment. Every other week she gets an infusion by an IV. After 23 days she does the treatment again.

Her husband, Jeramy Hudson is a Band Director at Boerne MS and has been by her side throughout this difficult season. He has a long commute every day and still makes it to her infusions. The Hudson’s have a beautiful teen girl, Evelyn and a handsome teen, Sam

This is not only a life-changing event for Melanie, her family, and loved ones but a time when Melanie and her family need financial support. Support to give her the best opportunity for treatment, recovery and a healthy, happy life... as every one deserves.
