Cystic Fibrosis Double Lung Relief

Brian Hartranft has been fighting with Cystic Fibrosis (A life shortening Disease) for a majority of his life. Like other patients with CF their immune systems cannot fight off minor colds and illnesses.  This chronic disease interferes with the respiratory, digestive and reproductive systems.  While treatments are costly and sometimes ineffective, there is hope. He has been granted the opportunity of a lifetime. After going through various tests and exams he was accepted to have his name placed on a lung transplant list, not just one, but double lungs. Just in the nick of time. His dreadful days of breathing treatments and shortness of breath could be long behind him. Brian has a heart of gold, even under cruddy circumstances, he adopts dogs and transforms their world of pain. Please join us to help a man who would do anything for a stranger, win the most important fight of his life. Not only does he have his two rescue dogs, but his high school (Freedom) sweetheart by his side. Brian has worked for St. Lukes Bethlehem for over thirty years until his health got the best of him.  His wife works full time for St. Lukes Sterile Processing Department, formally served over 20 years at the Bethlehem Campus. While their love for one another is strong, his lungs are getting tired.
