Hello friends,

It has always been very difficult for me to ask for help, but I am swallowing my pride today.

I joined ASU for the fall semester with grants and loan options offered to me. I accepted anything that could help. Unfortunately, about 1.5 months ago, some of the help was removed from my account due to a tax issue. In an effort to fix the problem and submit the correct paperwork, the government shutdown has stopped any progress and now I am in a serious financial hole with ASU. As it stands, I won't be eligible for financial aid until the next semester. However, I am stuck with footing the entire bill before I can sign up for any new classes. I have a course of action to make sure I can apply grants and scholarships to my spring semester, but I do need some help with what I owe now.
