Help a family of 5 during a difficult time.

Hello everyone. As some of you may know, right before Thanksgiving, my husband Albert was diagnosed with stage 2 testicular cancer. It has spread to his lymph nodes, and he will be starting chemotherapy soon. We are still waiting on his PET scans before it can start.

We have already received bills for his time in the hospital and his emergency surgery that he had to undergo. He is currently not working because his doctor has taken him out of work. We do not have any source of income right now, as I was a stay-at-home mother. I’m desperately trying to find work.

The doctors and his workplace have caused a few issues when it comes to his disability, which still isn’t being processed due to the fact that his job took so long to send paperwork and the doctors are taking a long time to turn them in. We most likely won’t get anything until the end of January or beginning of February.

We were hopeful that we’d be okay because people at his job were doing a fundraiser for him; however, we were informed today that HR fought his employees from doing so. We know this is around Christmas time, and we haven’t been able to buy any gifts. And we honestly are okay with that.

I’m asking for 2k only because we need to be able to pay rent. If you could help us with anything, we’d appreciate it so much. Thank you.
