Help us Save our Farm!! RAD Horsemanship and Training has been renting our home in Columbia Station for the past 3 years, over this time so many students and boarders have found their happy place, their relaxing time, and their horse therapy on our beautiful property.
This year it was listed for sale, and now we may loose the whole thing unless we are able to come up with a down payment to purchase the property. RAD is home to all sorts of misfits, from our awkward fainting goat, our foster fail donkeys, and a herd of quirky horses all with their own unique stories, every animal helps make students feel like their own quirks bring them value just like our critters. Our farm has become a safe haven for so many people it breaks my heart to think about losing it.
Beyond saving the farm being able to purchase the property would allow the Bowes family to stay in their long time home, which they will be displaced from if the property sells. The Bowes family have had a trying time with Billy breaking both legs last fall, and at his 1 year follow up discovered an infection that could lead to his leg being amputated. Through all the hardship Tiffany and Billy have remained upbeat and optimistic and are true role models for their 2 kids.
Donations will go towards a down payment to purchase the RAD Horsemanship and Training property, and keep the program open for kids and adults to enjoy the peace and love that only is found in the soul of a horse, as well as keep the Bowes family in the home they have built on that property. If the property is sold prior to having raised the downpayment, funds will be used to help move horses and the Bowes family or establish a down payment on a different location.
