Cynthia’s Cancer Treatment

On the 1st of January, my mom was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, known as Chloangiocarcinoma.


My mom, Cynthia Suerte (45) has been a nurse for over 15 years. She has always prided herself in what she does. She has three daughters (15, 13, 7) and a husband, who all wish to see their loved one get better. This diagnosis came as a surprise, as she has always looked healthy and has had little to no health issues. 

In late November, she began feeling pain in the upper right part of her stomach. After various visits to the doctor and two biopsies, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Chloangiocarcinoma which affects the bile duct area, liver, as well as the lymph nodes.

En el primer dia de Enero, Cynthia fue diagnosticada con Chloangiocarcinoma, una forma de cancer rara.

Mi mama, Cynthia Suerte (45) ha sido enfermera por más de 15 años. Tiene tres hijas (15,13,7) y un esposo que desean verla saludable y tenerla a su lado por muchos años mas. Esta diagnosis tomo a todos de sorpresa. Ella siempre se ha mirado saludable, y nunca eh tenido problemas majores en su salud.

En Noviembre, ella empezo a sentir dolor en la parte derecha de su estomago. Despues de varias visitas al doctor y varios examenes, fue diagnosticada con Estadio 4 Chloangiocarcinoma. Esto afecta a su higado, el conducto biliar, y a regional lymph nodes.
