Who is Cynthia?Cynthia (red shirt) is my amazing Sister! I am Gloria (blue shirt), along side 2 of our beautiful friends, Jaclyn and Sherry.
Cynthia is a 58 year old vibrant, loving, giving, God fearing woman. She has 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Anal CancerIt breaks my heart to share, that 2 weeks ago she was diagnosed with Anal Cancer.
In our conversation, we cried, we laughed, we made @ss puns, and cried some more, and laughed some more - it's just how we rock life!
Treatment Plan
Her doctors have been aggressive. She will finish testing next week and is scheduled to start 6 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy treatments on January 27th, just 4 days before her 22nd Birthday in her sobriety.
Why a Go Fund Me?
She lives alone, well with her 2 chihuahuas, and is self supported by working 2 jobs. Thankfully one of them provides her with amazing insurance, however, the process is already putting financial strain on her, and she has not even begun the really hard and expensive part of this journey, with a "curative intent", as stated by one of her brilliant doctors!
Where Will Your Donation Go?
All donations will go towards her medial deductibles, co-pays, medication, transportation, loss wages for life sustaining bills, and necessary comforts that she must have to win this fight!
What This Means To Me...
Everything!!! My Sista and I have been besties since I was born. Living in the same state or 6000 miles away we have always stayed tight and are like Sister, Mom, and Dad to each other.
I helped our late father through 3 cancer diagnosis, he had radiation once and thankfully the other 2 were operable so no additional treatments were necessary. JUST going through radiation was difficult. I was by his side every step of the way.
Sadly, I live in California and she is in Louisiana so I can not physically be there through the whole journey.
If you have ever gone though cancer treatment or helped someone who has, you know how vital it is to have a strong support system by your side. She has a large family there, and I know that when the time comes that she needs them by her side, they will be there for her.

In asking myself what can I do from here I started getting creative. I have gone to all of her doctors appointments with her via zoom. Meeting the doctors, taking notes, and asking questions that her brain is to preoccupied to think about at this stage of the process.
And then I thought about this, raising money to help relive her of any additional emotional strain that financial hardships cause while fighting the good fight.
Thank You!
I want to thank you now, even for just reading this. Anything you can do to help her cause will be more appreciated than I can express.
How Can You Help?
Of course donations are vital as soon as possible, as every time she turns around she has to pay for something else, and her financial reserves are quickly disappearing.
Anything you can donate, even $5 from all of my facebook friends will cover everything she needs.
I know not everyone can give, not even $5, so please help by giving anything you can.
If you are not in a position to make a donation, it would be amazing if you could help by sharing this link on your timeline.
ALSO,...
Anyone that lives near her can offer comfort and support in a personal way.
And of course please keep Cynthia in your prayers. She means the world to so so many people and is always the first one to jump on the train to support numerous causes around the world and in her community!
THANKS AGAIN for reading this, for your prayers, and for any support you can lend, both financially and personally.
