In memory of Cynthia Cole / March 23, 1979 - July 4, 2020 / Gone Too Soon
In honor of our love and appreciation for Cynthia, we are collecting funds to cover immediate expenses for her funeral and other related costs and to ease the financial stress for her family during this difficult time.
Cynthia was a kind soul who always helped others. Now is our opportunity to give back and help her family. Please feel free to share this link with others who may wish to make a donation.
Cynthia grew up in the high desert in Johnson Valley, California. She excelled in her studies and was granted a scholarship to Georgetown University in Washington, D. C. where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
Cynthia put her education to good use when she came to work for the County of San Diego where she successfully earned multiple promotions as a financial analyst primarily in the Department of Public Works.
In her spare time, she loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She traveled to Japan to visit her brother Gary (Junior) while he was stationed there in the Navy. She traveled to NYC to attend her friends' wedding. She had plans to visit Junior in Greece where he is now stationed.
After her parents' passing, Cynthia had her little brother George come to live with her in San Diego so she could care for him. She was looking forward to visiting several national parks with him. Cynthia and George, pictured below at Comic-Con, were on vacation in Zion National Park when she passed. [George will now be living with their sister Patricia in Los Angeles.]
Cynthia is survived by her two brothers Junior and George, her sister Patricia, as well as several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Cynthia had many good friends she met on her path through life and was loved by all. She will be deeply missed.
Due to Covid-19, a celebration of life will be postponed to a future date.
