Cyndi's Time of Need: Friends Step Up

The story is really simple and beautiful. We are Cyndi's best friends! Growing up, we watched Cyndi love on her daddy unconditionally. Now, she needs us!

In a world where you can be anything, be KIND, show up and be like Cyndi! We come to you as Cyndi Pillows Redden’s Best Friends. Rick Pillows, her loving father, was placed in hospice this week. Cyndi is our best friend. She is the friend we all wanted as a child and now crave as an adult. Cyndi always shows up, reduces burdens and always comes with gifts. She is an incredible friend and our biggest supporter. We know that money cannot remove the pain of laying Rick to rest for this family and yet it reduces the stress and weight of planning a funeral. We want this family to be able to prepare and grieve when it is time.

We learned Rick has no life insurance, no funeral policies or funds to support laying his body to rest once he transitions. We are called to reduce and bear each other's burdens. We know that Rick’s funeral should not be a burden that Cyndi, nor Staci (Cyndi’s older sister) should carry at this time. As a daughter, we want our fathers comfortable, content, and at peace. Let’s join together, rally for Cyndi, Staci, Mackenzie, April (Rick's Wife), Ameilia and Rick Pillows, aka Houston Steele. Let’s pour the love that Cyndi has shown her neighbors and friends back over her and this family.
