My dear sister in law Cyndi gained her wings this past Sunday evening after a courageous 18 month battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was a sweet and brave woman. She worked almost everyday through her treatment, never complained and handled everything with such grace and positivity. She beat breast cancer in 1999 when she was diagnosed at stage 2B. Having this happen 21 years later was beyond shocking. Watching her go through this battle has taught me to appreciate every sunrise and every breeze I feel on my face. My Brother her Husband Joe was with her every step of the way, every treatment, appointment, and was an amazing advocate for her. He has to pick up the pieces and has many things to deal with.
