Alina's Medical Expenses & Supplies

I am wanting to raise money for my friend Alina. She recently suffered an accidental fall from a window and ended up suffering from a "right Pelvic ring fracture", a "Comminuted fractures of the superior and inferior (upper/lower) of the pubic rami on the right" and a "right sacral ala fracture". She had to have emergency surgery to install a metal rod which is currently holding her hips/pelvis together. This will allow the fractures to properly heal over the next 6-8 weeks in which she will also attend physical therapy, this will be followed by additional surgeries and more physical therapy.



Because of this, she is no longer able to apply for work and needs some extra help with some expenses to aid in her recovery

Some things she will need are help with her rent (at least 2 months worth) and also needs to buy a wheelchair amongst other items to aid her manoeuvrability while she is healing (commode, shower bench etc)

These funds will also be used to help purchase her prescriptions and pay off some hospital debts.

A note from Alina:

I have just moved to Illinois from California and have been set back on funds in general just from moving. I was originally planning on moving back to California after a few months but now I'm unsure of what the future looks like other than a long recovery. I don't expect anyone's help or anything from anyone but I would be immensely grateful for any help given and offered. I am also currently working on getting my Illinois insurance set up but I'm still not sure how much will be covered. Thank you in advance to anyone who reads/share this post or/and supports me.
