Update 11/4/20: Finally Joe is home! While he’s feeling somewhat better, he’s still very weak. He will be following up with another MRI in a few weeks to see if the spots on his liver are gone. If not, he’ll need a biopsy done. As part of his care, his monthly prescriptions are extremely costly. Hence, we’ve increased the amount needed to reach our goal. Joe and Sally appreciate all you do ❤️ First of all, thank you for all of your love and prayers during Joe’s long road to recovery. He appreciates all of your support!  As Joe continues to fight for his health, many worries are compounding his thoughts. We thought that starting this GoFundMe account might put his mind at ease, somewhat, so he may fully concentrate on his recovery. As many of you know, Joe has been in the hospital for over a week now with severe complications associated with his diagnosis of diverticulitis and his liver infection. He’ll be going into surgery either tomorrow or Wednesday. He’ll stay in the hospital until he has enough energy and good test results. Because of his illness, he has not been able to work for about a month now. Hence, he’s run out of paid sick days. In addition, he does not have medical insurance until December.
