Davee's Battle Against Brain Tumors

Around two years ago my friend Davee was working at a local Starbucks when his life started to flip upside down. He noticed that he couldn’t hear customers orders anymore, and was ultimately fired from his job due to his lack of hearing. Concerned with his hearing impairment he decided to visit a doctor where he was then later diagnosed with deafness in one ear from Type 2 Neurofibromatosis (hearing loss, vision loss, and difficulty with balance.)

Davee’s doctor ordered an X-Ray and then had discovered something even more terrifying,...that he had five brain tumors . “I remember my mom breaking down and crying her eyes out ... my family was shocked and mortified but I was the only one not crying. I’m not scared...I feel like nothing can stop what God has planned for me. Since I found out about having these brain tumors my life has been a roller coaster” Davee states.

Davee is a humble and kind man who does not feel comfortable asking for help, but he can not continue to financially, physically, and mentally suffer this way. He really needs your help! Ever since his diagnosis he has suffered from voices in his head/hallucinations and has gone through three traumatic seizures. Davee has had two brain surgeries this past year , which so far have removed two of his tumors...but he still has three left! Everytime Davee has a surgery he describes that he not only has to live off pills to help his recovery process ,but he has to relearn how to read and write/walk, and fears every surgery that he might never wake up again.

“I was hating life so much because I didn’t have my implant(hearing aid brain implant) turned on and I wasn’t able to hear how I wanted to at one point...I did not want to believe that I was really deaf in one ear and I felt like suicide would be the best way to escape it ,but boy was I wrong because I feel like I got a lot more to do in this life and I just want to inspire as many people as I can to stay positive”

We are asking for friends and family to help Davee regain some normalcy and peace in his life ASAP. Any amount will help, and could completely change his life . No human deserves to suffer the way that my friend Davee has.
