Cygnus Arioso String Orchestra

Hello!

My name is Akiko Miyazawa, artistic director of the Cygnus Arioso String Orchestra.

We were so moved by the experience of presenting our debut concert at Government House, that we resolved to make this project live on.

Bringing together musicians across generations as we battle the pandemic, our shared love of string music making means we really can say- we are in this together.

And while we are excited to share our journey with you, we need financial help to ensure we can step confidently into a brighter future for our art.

The costs associated with making a concert happen are outlined below, followed by a range of options through which you can support us including tickets, video recordings, and even house concerts.

To put on a concert with 15 piece string orchestra, we need;

*Performer fees: $300 x 15 players = $4500
*Venue hire fees (concerts and rehearsals): $750
*Front of the house and staff fee: $500
*Photo and video: $750

In total= $6500

In return for your donation, we would like to offer;

$10 - The video of our debut concert on 16th of August 2020,
              video link sent via email.

$20 - The videos of our debut concert on 16th of August 2020
             AND our quartet concert on 27th of June 2020.
              video link sent via email.

$35 - one ticket to our NEXT string orchestra concert
            (dates TBC aiming to be January 2021) & the video link of the debut concert

$50 - one ticket & 2 video links & a post concert drink

$200 - Akiko will play Bach in your house

$500 - Cygnus Arioso will organize a house concert for you
                (details negotiable- WA only)
