I am Brennan Gonzalez, and I am raising funds for the Belize Education Project. It is a nonprofit organization that promotes literacy and improves education for students in Belize. Each year, American and Belizean teachers come together to exchange ideas and share best teaching practices.

In October, approximately 20 volunteers (mostly teachers) will travel to Belize to bring much needed school supplies to 5 elementary schools. My goal is to raise $1000 for this mission. The funds will be used to purchase supplies, such as crayons, pencils, rulers, erasers, etc. that will be delivered directly to the students and teachers in Belize. All extra funds will be donated to the Belize Educations Project’s Scholarship Program, which helps students attend high school. Any amount is so greatly appreciated. A $10.00 donation can buy as many as 20 packs of crayons, 10 scissors, or 24 rulers. All donations will have an immediate and lasting impact on children’s lives.
