Help Rebuild Bodhi Tree School After Cyclone Damage
Donation protected
On the 1st of June, a powerful cyclone tore through Bodhgaya, Bihar — leaving a trail of destruction in its path. One of the worst-hit areas was Bodhi Tree School, a grassroots education center serving over 700 children from undeserved communities, including children with special needs.
Just last year, with the support of generous donors and retreat participants, we were able to renovate a key section of the school — replacing the roof, repainting the walls, and restoring a safe space where learning and joy could thrive.
Now, that very space has been completely destroyed.
We are heartbroken. But we are not giving up.
We are calling on our community — friends, family, past volunteers, retreat participants, and those who believe in education and equality — to help us rebuild.
What We’re Raising Funds For:
New roofing and structural repairs
Repainting and restoration of classrooms
Replacement of learning materials and classroom supplies
Support for daily operations disrupted by the disaster
How You Can Help:
Any amount — big or small — makes a real difference.
This school is more than bricks and mortar — it’s a lifeline for the children of Bodhgaya.
Let’s come together to rebuild what this cyclone took away.
Thank you for your trust, support, and solidarity.
