Hi all,
For those of you that don't know me, my name is Ethan Overton and I am a digital content creator. In April 2023 I will be setting off on a 24-day, 2000km cycle to Ukraine.
I recently travelled 7 days on a regular E-scooter from London to Amsterdam (300km) for the homeless at Christmas. Over this week, we managed to raise over £2K!
It has been over a year since the conflict began in Ukraine. More than 7 million people have completely fled the country leaving behind everything they have ever known; including their loved ones who are without essentials like electricity, warmth, food and water. Countless homes, schools, hospitals and important infrastructure are also being destroyed.
This April, I will be fundraising for the British Red Cross which is an amazing charity that are providing Ukrainians with essential aid in these dire times.
Where will my donations go?
- £10 could provide a hygiene kit to a family of five, giving them supplies to stay healthy for a month.
- £20 could provide five blankets to families taking shelter.
- £30 could provide 3,600 chlorine tablets to ensure that families have access to clean, safe water.
- £100 could provide sleeping mats for 66 people who have been forced from their homes.
- £210 could provide a fully equipped first aid kit, including supplies, to a first aider treating the wounded.
