Iguality: Cycling Together for Communities in Need

Iguality, a nonprofit organisation that offers cost-free mental health care to marginalised communities in and around Barcelona, is at a crucial point. In order to continue their psychosocial support to those most in need, helping refugees, migrants, LGBTQ+ individuals and others at risk of exclusion to improve their mental wellbeing and other areas of life, Iguality urgently needs donations to sustain and grow their social impact.

Therefore, to increase awareness about mental health, bring a diverse community together and raise sufficient funding, Iguality is organising the Ride for Iguality 2024, the second edition of a meaningful and impactful cycling event in the heart of Catalonia, Spain, close to Barcelona.

More than 40 cyclists will team-up to jointly ride over 3000 kilometers in 1 day, battling the magnificent peaks of the Montseny mountains, where some beginners will climb their first mountain on a bicycle, while the more experienced riders will cycle more than 200 kilometers in this one day. Each rider is collecting donations to motivate their effort, which goes directly to the fieldwork of Iguality.

And just as important: each euro donated = 2 euros! A Dutch private donor is doubling each donation made, so every euro you donate has a double impact.
