Cycling to help disabled children in Kenya

Want to join me in making a difference?

I will cycle from London to Brussels from the 13th to the 15th of September to raise funds for Salama Charities - a charity that focuses on helping the disabled in Kenya advance their education at secondary and tertiary levels.

I am raising money towards building a new school and residence facility - Acorn Special Needs School - in Nairobi, Kenya.  Fund raising for this project started last year with a Mt Kenya climb.  The total cost of the project is £268,625. We've raised £41,354 so far but we have a long way to go and these vulnerable children are in desperate need of help!   The more funds I can raise, the  sooner the building work (on phase 1) can start so any donations will help make an impact.

Please visit https://salamacharities.org/latest-projects/ for more information and pictures of the project.

Let us work together to help Salama Charities alleviate some of the hardship that these young people are going through. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

ABOUT SALAMA CHARITIES:

The central focus of Salama's work is to create and provide opportunities for advancement through education to the mentally and physically disabled. Another large part of what they do is helping to build and equip schools with better facilities and resources to enable these schools to meet the needs of disabled children.
