This is The 1% Project.
To raise money for the Amputation Foundation, I’m taking on a challenge that will push me further than ever before. Something completely out of my comfort zone.
I’ll be cycling from John O’Groats to Land’s End, over 1000 miles, aiming to cover around 60-100 miles a day.
Along the way I’ll also be climbing the UK’s three highest mountains, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.
This isn’t just a bike ride. It’s a test of endurance, discipline and mindset.
And to be real, I’ve never even cycled more than 60km in a single day before this.
The reason behind this is my dad.
He lost both of his legs due to diabetes and sepsis, but that never stopped him showing up as a father.
No matter what he was going through, he stayed strong for me, and that’s something I’ll never forget.
The Amputation Foundation has supported people like him through some of the hardest moments of their lives, helping with recovery, rehabilitation and giving people a sense of normality again.
That’s why this matters to me.
If you can donate, even something small, it genuinely makes a difference.
If you can’t, sharing this page goes further than you think.
I’ll be documenting the full journey, the highs, the struggles and everything in between.
This is bigger than just a challenge.
This is for my dad.
