Cycling the Length of the UK for Mountain Rescue and Cancer

Donation protected
Hi, we are Rachel, Caoilinn and Sorcha and this June we will be cycling the entire length of the UK, from Land's End in Cornwall to John O Groats in Scotland. We will be cycling approximately 2000km with over 55000ft elevation, while camping along the way. The cycle will be in memory of our dear friend who passed away this year. We are hoping to raise funds for two incredible charities, both of which are very close to our hearts: Mountain Rescue (Ireland and the UK) and Irish Cancer Society.

Mountain rescue is volunteer rescue service, available 24 hours per day, 365 days a year, to respond to emergencies in the outdoors. Between them, rescue teams in Ireland and the UK respond to over 4000 callouts annually, saving countless lives—hikers, climbers, runners, and everyday people who found themselves in trouble. Mountain rescue teams rely on donations to cover costs such as vital equipment, training and vehicle maintenance.

Irish Cancer Society carries out inspiring work, and helps to improve the lives of families and patients affected by cancer.
More information about Irish Cancer Society can be found here:

Funds raised will be split equally between the two charities.
We would really appreciate any support. No donation is too little.
Thank you!
