Cycling from k'emk'emelay to mohkinstsis for IRSSS

The reason I am finally motivated enough to fulfill my dream of cycling the from the West Coast through the Rockies (appx 1100 kms with appx 10, 000meters of climbing, in 7-8 days) is because I am honoured to be raising money to benefit the Indian Residential School Survivors Society. Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution. I leave beautiful k'emk'emelay (vancouver), coast salish territories on saturday June 8th and hope to arrive the following saturday in calgary (mohkintsis), Treaty 7 territory.
My sweet partner Lisa will be providing online progress updates frequently as I may be indisposed...
More information about Indian Residential School Survivors Society: IRSSS has been serving First Nations people in B.C. since 1994, just ten years after the last Indian Residential School closed in the province. Recently, IRSSS has supported students and survivors with triggering issues, including the uncovering of unmarked graves at Indian Residential Schools across the province and nation, and most recently, assisting with the applications for the Federal Indian Day School Class Action, while providing emotional and spiritual support as needed.
