I'm an avid cyclist, artist, environmentalist and activist. After cycling for nearly 20 years, I've only recently discovered the joy, power, and solidarity in raising funds, visibility and awareness for causes through charity rides. After completing my first Bike MS 150 mile ride in 2025 in support of a friend, I was determined to ride it again in 2026.

5 days into 2026, I broke my ankle in a crash while riding my bike. My first priority was healing well enough that I could ride Bike MS CO 2026. Along the way, I committed to and completed the American Cancer Society's 300 miles in May challenge as well as the Ride to END ALZ. Both efforts were part of my recovery and in support of causes that impacted my family directly. After completing the 150 miles over two days for Bike MS 2026, I've turned my cycling efforts to environmental causes.

I'm raising funds in support of a project I'm calling Suncor Century. This project currently involves two key parts that revolve around cycling 100 miles around the Commerce City Refinery owned and operated by Suncor.
  • This first is a performance for video where I don a multi-vapor respirator and heart monitor and record my attempts to ride 100 miles around and through the refinery using 360 degree video cameras.
  • The second is to work with cycling fundraiser organizers, cycling activists and environmental activist groups to establish an official fundraising ride in support of 350 Colorado's efforts to hold Suncor accountable for its continued legacy of pollution, degrading the environment and public health for nearby residents.

Contributing to this fundraiser will support the first part of the project in hopes that the attention it generates will fuel the establishment of an official fundraising ride. Your funds will help cover production expenses related to recording and editing my first complete 103.5 mile Suncor Century Ride route as well as support me through the process of editing and publishing the 6 hours of footage to social media.

To date, I've completed my first full attempt. You can view the route here. I have captured the 6 hour effort on 2x 360 cameras and will be premiering the first full edit in 12 parts at the RedLine Contemporary Art Center in September 2026. Watch it at the 2026 Resident Remix Event or at the Public Opening.

Current Project Budget:
  • $1000 - 2x 360 Cameras and related accessories (clamps, memory cards)
  • $200 - Portable Air Quality Meter ($200)
  • $200 - Food and Hydration Supplies for 3x scouting rides, and 3x ride attempts
  • $350 - Equipment for recording audio.
  • $150 - Cycling Consumables (tubes, chain, lube, bar tape, etc.)
  • $1350 - 2x 16TB of Drive space to hold footage and project files and Back up.
  • $2500 - 25 hours of actual cycling total for route scouting, tech check, and multiple full route attempts.
  • $16000 - 160 hours of Editing/Sound Mixing/ Color Grading
