Hi,

I’m Rhamsi Alkadi, a 29 year old half-Palestinian, half-British cyclist on a mission! This summer I’ll be embarking on a deeply personal and meaningful journey - cycling from London, England to Istanbul, Türkiye over the course of three months, starting in the second week of July 2025.

This ride isn’t just about adventure. It’s about solidarity, love, and giving back. The money raised through this GoFundMe will go directly to support Gazan families in urgent need, as well as two incredible organizations:

MAP (Medical Aid for Palestinians) – Providing lifesaving healthcare and medical support to Palestinians in crisis.

SkatePal – Working to build a self-sustaining skateboarding community for young people in Gaza and the West Bank.

Each donation, no matter how big or small, will be split evenly between these three vital causes. I’ll be keeping this fundraiser open throughout the entire journey, until I return to the UK. So you’re welcome to contribute anytime along the way.

This ride is my way of connecting to my Palestinian roots, raising awareness of the current genocide that has been taking place for more than 75 years and making a tangible difference in people’s lives. If you can support through donating or sharing online, it would really mean the world.
