Cycling 500 miles in April

April 21st would be my Dad's 80th birthday, he was planning a big celebration party. In memory of my fabulous Dad I am raising money in aid of Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust. I'm setting an ambitious target amount both in miles and target to be raised so thank you so much for considering to contribute and keeping me motivated.

I do cycle but mainly to and from work and that's when its not raining, too windy or I have too much to carry! I will need to cycle approximately 16 miles a day to keep on track.

On the 19th June last year the Air Ambulance airlifted my dad to Brighton hospital. The team were amazing and I am so grateful to them for giving him the opportunity of such quick medical care. Dad unfortunately didn’t make it despite their efforts.

I didn’t have chance to say thank you to any of the crew for trying their best and this is partly my way of saying thank you and also to give someone else the chance to have their life saved too.

Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust is an independent charity and receives no government funding. It is funded purely from charitable donations so every penny received is truly valued. The average cost of attending an incident is approximately £4,600. I know I wont be able to raise anywhere near that amount of funds but every bit counts.
