12 Everest’s for children with chd

This Christmas, I’m embarking on a challenging yet incredibly important mission – I’m going to cycle for 24 hours straight to raise vital funds for children battling congenital heart disease (CHD).

As a parent, or even as a friend or family member, there’s nothing worse than seeing a child suffer. Unfortunately, many children born with CHD face life-threatening heart conditions that require complex treatments, surgeries, and ongoing care. These children are nothing short of superheroes themselves, fighting every day for their health and survival.

But what really breaks my heart is knowing that there are so many families out there who feel powerless in the face of these overwhelming challenges. While medical advances have come a long way, there’s still so much more that needs to be done. Research is key to improving treatment options, developing life-saving technologies, and ultimately providing these children with a brighter, healthier future.

That’s why I’m cycling for 24 hours this Christmas – to raise funds that will go directly towards CHD research. The doctors and medical professionals who dedicate their lives to treating these kids are the real superheroes, but they need better tools, better understanding, and better support to save even more lives.
