At the end of January 2026, I will join a group of 20 cyclists on a challenging 225 km mountain bike journey through Tanzania. We will ride from Arusha into the heart of the Ngorongoro Highlands, all with one goal: to raise funds for Endulen Hospital.

Why Endulen Hospital?

For more than 50 years, Endulen Hospital has been the only medical facility providing essential healthcare to the Maasai people living in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania. The hospital depends almost entirely on donations. Today, it faces serious challenges due to extreme and changing weather conditions, as well as large temperature fluctuations. As a result, urgent renovations are needed to ensure that the hospital can continue delivering safe and reliable care.

This project is also deeply personal to me. Tweega Medica deploys Dutch doctors to Endulen Hospital, including my close friend Anne de Boer, who is currently working there and witnessing these challenges firsthand.

Our goal

Each participant commits to raising at least €2,000. These funds will be used to renovate the hospital step by step, creating a safe and healthy environment where patients can receive the care they truly deserve.
