Hello Everyone,
Liam Mulligan will cycle 100km on 14 December 2024. Five years ago, Liam was diagnosed with acute leukaemia when on holiday with his wife Elizabeth in New York. This was a complete shock to all involved, no warning signs and no prior illnesses. Liam battled the disease in Mount Sinai Hospital in New York for over two months, these months were the most difficult of days fighting for his life, facing multiple challenges and setbacks including pneumonia, collapsed lungs and septicaemia.
Liam eventually flew home to Ireland and commencing further treatment and his bone marrow transplant in St James Hospital.
Five years on, Liam is now ready to give back to those who helped save his life and to provide much needed funds to help others in similar situations.
Keep up to date on the story and the upcoming cycle through below instagram page. @cycle_of_life_24
