Cycle from Morocco to Manchester for Mental Health
Donation protected
I'm getting on the road!
Thanks to all of you, we have already raised £645 which is going directly to Mental Health UK!
My family have matched the money we raised so I can buy my bike & and some gear in Morocco and send all the money already raised so far directly to Mental Health UK Charity!
Now I can officially start the ride.
This next phase of the fund raiser is to help keep me going on the road.
Want to support the journey?
Here's how you can help:
£5 = A small snack for fuel!
£10 = A meal to keep me on track
£50 + = A safe place to stay and charge my camera so I can keep you lot in the loop... and also for any back up incase of emergency!
Every bit helps! Whether you donate or just share this post, you're part of this adventure and helping me prove that anything is possible.
For anyone new here... Why am I doing this?:
Some challenges in life, you choose. Others, you don’t.
After cycling from Sydney to Byron Bay to raise awareness for men’s mental health, I knew I needed to go bigger. I wanted to do something that truley pushed my limits—something people would say is impossible.
I set out to travel again, and right now, I’m in Morocco. While I’ve been here, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how I can do something that truly makes a difference—how I can use my energy to help others in a meaningful way.
I wanted to push myself further, take on something bigger, and challenge myself both physically and mentally—so instead of hopping on a plane home, I’ve decided to cycle all the way back to Manchester.
Why This Matters:
Some of you may or may not know, but my dad is currently battling cancer along with multiple rare autoimmune diseases. I’ve seen firsthand how much he has struggled—not just physically, but mentally. Coping with stress, pain, and the drastic changes in his life has been incredibly hard, and it’s shown me more than ever how deeply physical and mental health are connected. Everyone deserves the right support in place, and that’s why I want to do this.
But right now, I don’t have my bike with me, and I don’t have all the funds to make this entire journey possible. Instead of losing momentum, I thought—why not bring people along for the ride? Let’s make this something bigger. Let’s turn this challenge into a movement.
(And, of course, you can all watch me completely break my body attempting to do it. )
Why Mental Health UK?:
Mental health support is something we all need at some point in life - whether for ourselves, a friend, or a loved one. That’s why it’s so important to have organisations like Mental Health UK, who provide the resources, guidance, and support that can make all the difference when someone is struggling.
How the Funds Will Be Used:
- We have already raised a HUGE £645 for Mental Health UK so far!
- Now I need money to cover food & basic travel expenses so I can stay on the road
- Supporting Mental Health UK—every extra penny raised will go directly to the charity
This Ride Is About More Than Just Me.
Life throws challenges at us all - mental health battles, grief, loss, illness - and we don’t get to choose them. But we can choose to keep moving forward.
I want to do something hard.
I want to push myself to the absolute limit.
I want to prove that even when something seems impossible, it can be done.
Be part of the journey. Be part of the movement. Let’s ride for change.
