3 Penguins (Charlie Beardmore, Trevor Kelly and Loz Lawrence) now too old and decrepit to play rugby any longer, will cycle around both Jersey and Guernsey on the weekend of 5/6th October 2024 to raise money for Penguins Against Cancer (PAC) in aid of Jersey Hospice Care. The adventure is self funded, and there are no administrative expenses, so all money raised will go to Jersey Hospice Care. If the original target of £1000 is exceeded, PAC will be requested to match the money raised, thus doubling the amount given to Jersey Hospice Care.

In addition, Andy Black, equally old, and unable to join the others, will run the Kingston half marathon on Sunday 6th March in support of PAC.

PAC is a UK registered charity which has raised and disbursed over £500 000 since 2013 to raise cancer awareness and provide support to cancer research cancer treatment and hospices. During the ride the team of 3 will aim to visit Jersey Hospice Care and also the Jersey Super 10's Veterans rugby tournament to briefly cheer on the Teams. During the half marathon Andy will aim to visit several refreshment stands and eat a number of bananas, whilst being cheered around a demanding course. Please give generously. Thank you.
