At almost 48 years old, I was floundering in finding a fitness goal that is healthy and sustainable as I navigate “the change”. I’ve become so bored of and stagnant in my “per usual” strength training regime and knew I needed more cardio but I hate cardio equipment and it’s been too freaking hot to motivate myself to get on my bike but yesterday I somehow managed to for basically the first time this summer and I was reminded of how much I absolutely love it…. And then this pops up in my feed a couple hours later!
I'm cycling 300 miles in the month of August to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer. This is a very meaningful cause for me. ACS has a platinum rating on GuideStar (the highest possible), so give with confidence! Please consider making a donation because every little bit helps.
This is definitely a cause that inspires me because, in addition to having beloved friends and family who have struggled with (or are currently struggling with) cancer, I lost my mother to it. My mother was a huge health enthusiast and wanted us to be our healthiest best so these 300 miles are for you mama ❤️
