Cycle 120 miles for Oncology @ Birmingham Childrens Hospital
On 6th September, Dave and Sean (Cannock Chase Cycle Center) will be cycling 120 miles in a single day, setting off from and ending in Stafford and taking on a beautiful but challenging route through Ironbridge, Church Stretton and Shrewsbury — all in support of the Oncology Department at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
This ride is especially meaningful to Dave, who has seen first-hand how vital the work of this department is. While they’ve taken on big cycling challenges before, this one is all about giving back.
The Oncology Department at Birmingham Children’s Hospital cares for children and young people facing cancer with expertise, compassion, and incredible dedication. From pioneering treatments to emotional support for families, their work is nothing short of life-changing. The charity helps fund state-of-the-art equipment, research into better treatments, and the extras that make hospital life a little easier — from play specialists to parent accommodation.
By taking on this ride, Dave and Sean hope to raise funds that go directly towards supporting these brave children and the teams who care for them.
Please sponsor them if you can. Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a difference to young lives.
Thank you so much for your support ️
