Hi. I'm Cindy.   My son Branden was born missing his left arm and most of the bones in both of his legs.  Doctors do not know why he was born missing these bones, but they think it may be related to the fact that he also was  born with a form of Muscular Dystrophy called Mitochondrial Myopathy.  He does not let any of that stop him. 

Branden has done a lot of things in his life, but he has always dreamed of being able to do a marathon with his brother, Andrew.  Andrew runs for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.   Andrew's inspiration to run is Branden.  In order for Branden to be able to run this marathon with Andrew, he will need a hand-cycle. 

All of the money raised will go toward the hand-cycle.  Racing hand-cycles are more expensive than bicycles that can be purchased in a store.  Branden has used a hand-cycle before, but it was at a wheelchair sports camp. 

Now, he just needs one of his own, and the time to train for his first marathon.  He can do that with your help.   It means so much to Branden that his brother runs for him.  He would love nothing more than to be right there beside him at those marathons.
