Elizabeth Paige's Fight
Donation protected
Elizabeth's fight started back in July of 2014. She was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when she was 11. She received a bone marrow transplant March 17, 2015, and now shows no signs of the leukemia! However following the transplant, some stroke-like symptoms occurred causing some problems for Elizabeth that require her to remain at St Jude’s. Her speech is affected as well as the right side of her body; she is unable to stand or walk on her own, and she has a feeding tube. The doctors are not sure exactly what caused these problems and are still doing tests. Elizabeth has been at St Jude’s for over 230 days now.
St Jude’s has been able to assist with medical expenses while Elizabeth is an in-patient; however after Elizabeth is released from St Jude’s, her family will need some assistance to meet the medical obligations related to a rehabilitation facility, further medical procedures and tests as well as required medical equipment for transport, etc. Friends and family would like to help with this expense to help with Elizabeth’s fight!
