About Kasturi:
Kasturi is one of those brave frontline workers who worked tirelessly to support the lives of many, similar to you & me. She served the society as a Staff Nurse for over 12+ years in several towns of North Karnataka.
Kasturi was a humble, friendly, caring soul. Her bubbly nature and empathy towards people always brought in a lot of positivity around her. She was one of the core members to treat COVID impacted patients during all 3 waves in India. She actively contributed to the Vaccination drives, Polio camps and other government initiatives alongside balancing her role of a mother, wife and daughter.
Kasturi was diagnosed with a neurological disease(GB Syndrome) on 28th Feb 2022. The disease advanced in a few hours, breaking her entire nervous system and we lost Kasturi on the 1st March 2022 at an early age of 40years.

Problem Statement:
Her sudden and untimely death has caused irreplaceable loss to her kids. She was working as a contract employee. Unfortunately, due to limited income she couldn’t afford to buy any private insurance either. As a primary bread earner she did her best to support her family. Her spouse runs a small tea stall in Belgaum city and is a meager support to the financial health of the family.
Kasturi has two lovely teenage daughters and both are still pursuing their studies. Elder daughter is pursuing a two-year lab technician training program (in Belgaum city) and the second daughter is studying in 12th standard (in commerce stream), post that she is planning to join a degree college from the up-coming academic year.
This difficult moment in life has not only caused emotional stress for her daughters who are still in a state of grief, but now they are also hit with the "financial burden" to support themselves.

Appeal:
Are you looking to make an impact on the lives of these two lovely daughters? Do you want to get closer to the heart of this great cause? If yes, we request your support and contribution financially or other means. You don’t have to pinch your pocket, donate only what you can afford and walk away with a great feeling of having helped someone with a “random act of kindness”, which you will receive back many folds :-)
