Raven Brown is an 18-year-old senior at Carver High School in Atlanta, Georgia where she excels in academics and softball. Preparing to graduate in May 2026. She has big dreams of serving her country by joining the military after graduation. Raven is known by everyone who meets her as fun, bubbly, smart, and outgoing. More importantly, she is someone who deeply cares for others and is always willing to lend a helping hand or share a kind word.
On the night of Sunday, February 1, 2026 just hours before Raven was set to celebrate her 18th birthday tragedy struck. While Raven was lying in bed inside her family home, gunshots rang out outside. Bullets entered the home, and Raven was struck. She suffered a broken shoulder, broken ribs, and a severely damaged lung. The bullet remains lodged in her chest, missing a major artery by only inches. Due to how dangerously close it is to this artery, doctors have made the difficult decision not to remove it.
Despite everything, Raven is showing incredible strength. She is a fighter, but she now faces a long and challenging road to recovery, including medical treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing care.
During this time, Raven’s mother, Nora, has had to step away from work to care for her daughter and manage the growing medical expenses. The emotional and financial strain on the family has been overwhelming.
Any donation, no matter the amount will help support Raven’s medical care, recovery journey, and help ensure her family can meet their daily needs during this incredibly difficult time. If you are unable to donate, sharing Raven’s story means just as much.
Thank you for supporting Raven and her family as they fight through this together.
