Hello My name is Brandi Nunes my husband is Ryan and we have 3 kids from 9-2.
we are trying to raise money for justice for our Great Pryneese Bear Bear. We paid a 2000$ vet bill. Now we need help getting a lawyer. Bear was a family dog who we loved with all our heart. He was our family Member. On November 18 2018 our Bear was shot by a Neighbor who was deer hunting. He said Bear was chasing off his deer. We have been communicating with this guy for a week. He told us he was not going hunting that day so we let Bear outside to Play. He told us he never had a heart to shoot a dog. We had our Bear for over a little 2 years from a puppy. Never any trouble. Next thing we knew we heard a gunshot and ran outside 2 shots later he had hit our sweet Bear. We got him and put him inside. Notice he had been shot in the leg.
We took him to our vet.They had kept him a week and was trying to save his leg. They put bone cement in and was hoping it would fuse together. As a mom I called and checked on my furbaby every day. He would not eat and was depressed. So the next week I went and sat with him every day and even cooked him food and brought it to him. He ate for me would never eat for the Vet and thier staff. Well the end of the week the vet decided his leg wasn’t fusing and they had to amputate. They tried to wait till his health was better because he wouldn’t eat and they had to put him on IV. But he would not so they had to go ahead and do it. The next day we got to bring him home cause he would not eat so the vet thought it would be best to bring his spirits and health back at home. The next day he died in my arms. Not sure what went wrong. We were devestated. He was our world. Our family dog. He meant everything to us. He was our gentle giant, our best friend our protector our fur baby.
We want to get a lawyer to help make this horrible human pay for what he took from us.
